Now, I knew it would be testing but kicking off a product based brand during the year of Covid was both a blessing and a curse... On one hand it gave me the time to dedicate to it, because there was only so much streaming I could do 💁🏼♀️
But on the other it heavily restricted access to resources and materials. I always knew the colour palette we would eventually deliver. The three colours I had in mind from the start. We had run through testing samples, making changes and were getting ready for production. Then when it come time to secure enough fabric for the initial production run we hit a wall...
We had to scramble to select adequate material and in the end we dropped an entire colour selection from the range 😭 It was a choice made out of necessity to get the product to market. It also however gives us the very exciting opportunity to finally bring the last colour, as a special release, all on its own.
